Johanna Häsler

Johanna, Xin and Zita created a conceptual work combining pictures and texts. For this project they conducted interviews about ordinary objects. For this reason they included instructions for their exhibit:
“The image of the person’s eye directly next to the corresponding text; Intermediate distance about 5cm; hang up on eye-level; the visible object (e.g. spoon) towards the platform.”

Moreover, Johanna created analogous photograms. This technique gives a new perspective on alienated objects and people. At first, some exposure issues occurred using this experimental process. It took up to four days until the final result came out to be successful, even in larger sizes.
