My résumé

I grew up mainly in Karlsruhe and the surrounding area. In the meantime, I moved to Landau in the Palatinate to study psychology, but I didn't stay there for long. My desire to study psychology and then to continue my education as a psychological psychotherapist was clear to me at a relatively early stage. However, my studies were more a means to an end - much too theoretical, too scientific, too far away from real people. To this day, I am fascinated by the motivations behind human behavior. I am always impressed by the protective mechanisms people acquire as they grow up. In fact, I consider various behavioral patterns to be functional at first, which (can) become a problem only later in life.

Finding out together with people seeking advice what the causes of their suffering are, how they can influence this and ultimately develop a better understanding for themselves and others, is something I consider to be an exciting but also challenging task. Exciting because the profession of therapist - I believe - never gets boring. Every day I meet new people who may have similar stresses, but who each have their own creative life story that needs to be explored together.

And this is exactly where the challenge arises: despite growing experience, we are individuals, anticipated connections can fit, but they never have to. At the same time, it also means a challenge for the person seeking advice: coming to terms with oneself is not always a pleasure. On this path - possibly to oneself - I would like to accompany people a bit.
