Hike in the Pfalz - September 28, 2024
11.09.2024We drive together to Annweiler am Trifels and hike along the castle trail. Spectacular rock formations with castles and ruins await us, which were the focal point of European history in the Middle Ages.
Today, the imperial jewels of the Holy Roman Empire can be visited. The castles of Anebos and Scharfenberg (Münz) served to protect Trifels Castle. The location of Trifels Castle on the ridge of a rock is one of the most impressive castle silhouettes in Germany. The ascent to the viewing tower on the Rehberg is also worthwhile. The panoramic view is breathtaking.
