As a trainee office management assistant (f/m/o), you will provide support in various departments such as Human Resources, Financial Accounting, Housingand University Catering. You will help with tasks such as application management, time recording, invoice processing and secretarial duties. In the Office for Educational Support, you will assist with the processing of BAföG applications and in the Housing department you will take care of housing advertisements and dormitory applications. You will also gain an insight into warehousing and logistics in university catering and improve your communication skills at reception, where you will also sell scripts and be the first point of contact for callers and visitors.

The prerequisite is a commitment from a vocational school for social pedagogy, which defines the framework of the practical training and is a cooperation partner.

Requirements for the training:

• Realschulabschluss or Fachschulreife or the promotion certificate to grade 11 of a 9-year grammar school or grade 10 of an 8-year grammar school or proof of an equivalent level of education
  and
• successful completion of the vocational college for trainees or a comparable previous education from another federal state
  or
• a vocational qualification as a childcare worker or equivalent vocational qualification relevant to the training at the Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik
  or
• the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, the subject-specific or general higher education entrance qualification or the school-based part of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences from a vocational grammar school specializing in social pedagogy or social sciences and in each case a practical activity of at least six weeks that is suitable for preparing for the subsequent vocational training,
  or
• at least one year of completed vocational training in the socio-educational field or a corresponding full-time school as well as a six-week internship in a socio-educational institution,
  or
• at least one year of completed vocational training in the nursing field or a corresponding full-time school, if the elective subject pedagogy and psychology was attended as well as a six-week internship in a socio-educational institution,
  or
• at least two years of continuous work as a childminder with several children (approved via a care permit) and a six-week internship in a socio-educational institution. If proof of only part-time work as a childminder is provided, the period of required work is extended accordingly,

• at least two years of work with children in a socio-educational institution, whereby a voluntary social year or federal voluntary service in a child day care facility can also be taken into account,

You will accompany the children on their way to becoming self-confident and responsible people. You are jointly responsible for the planning, design and implementation of educational work, prepare your own projects, carry them out and reflect on them.
