Dear students,
In order to make even better use of our beautiful canteen courtyard on Adenauerring, we would ask you to park your bicycles in the newly designated parking spaces instead of there. Why is this a good idea?

1. more space and freedom of movement as well as accessibility:
Without bicycles, the inner courtyard will be more spacious and offer more room to move around, rest or for information stands and events. This will make the courtyard a more attractive place for everyone to relax between lectures or to exchange ideas with others and enjoy a delicious coffee.
2. safety and fire protection:
Not using bicycles increases safety for everyone, as emergency exits and escape routes are more accessible. It also reduces potential fire hazards from blocked areas or flammable materials.
3. improved aesthetics and cleanliness:
A courtyard without bicycles looks tidier, cleaner and more inviting. This promotes a pleasant atmosphere where people feel comfortable without having to stumble over parked bicycles.
4. targeted bicycle parking for more order... and a clear path to the [kœri]werk® :-).
