Private accommodation service
Karlsruhe has more than 300,000 citizens and well over 30,000 students. More than one in ten citizens go to one of the nine universities in the city. Despite the nearly 2,662 rooms managed by the Studierendenwerk, students are dependent on a functioning private housing market in Karlsruhe and Pforzheim. In Karlsruhe, the Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe has therefore established a private accommodation service that arranges between 2,500 and 3,000 rooms from private persons to students each year.As a student you can "search for private accommodation" in and around Karlsruhe or as a landlord you can place an offer for an apartment or room.The private accommodation service is free of charge for landlords as well as tenants.
